SD-001, also know as 'Blue Archer', is one of the drones stolen by MH-001 for Maelstrom to use for battle should one come. SD-001 was stolen from a relatively small but secure and hidden hive located within the Foxfire Bramble.

SD-001 is Spiral drone, presumably male, with shadow eyes. SD-001 is a mutant strange drone, meaning has a color scheme different from true drones. Rather than being completely black, it is instead phthalo colored with white patches most visibly on the legs and tail.

SD-001, as it's name suggests, is an archer, meaning it has the ability to spitting building fluid. Like all archers, its belly-sac carries the building fluid and can be seen through its transparent underbelly. The natural color of building fluid is black but the transparent underbelly of SD-001 has a slight blue tinge, making the fluid within seem dark blue in color. SD-001's building fluid hardens in roughly 7-9 seconds of contact with air.

SD-001 has been given a set of chitin armor, covering its wings, legs, and tail. The armor is similar in color to the drone itself in hopes to somewhat camouflage the armor. SD-001 has also a tracking device inserted within the neck near its head.

So far, SD-001 has not experienced any glitches of any kind and has stayed obedient to MH-001. In the event that SD-001 or MH-001 experiences any glitches, causing it to go against Maelstrom, the tracking device located in SD-001's neck has an explosive device, only exploding when triggered by its remote. The remote is kept hidden with Maelstrom HQ and will only be used in the event of a glitch within SD-001 or MH-001.
