Biography
"The Wildclaw fiddles with what seems to be a mechanical leg as you approach. He points towards a shelf of prosthetics before you can ask for what you need. The female Wildclaw outside the workshop tells you the price with a brief glance at your choice before sending you on your way, a team so fine tuned that there were little questions to be asked"

PERSONALITY & QUIRKS For a dragon a part of the Shocktalons family, Tylin is just as energetic and mechanically inclined as his mother. His claws are rarely empty and there’s no shortage of sound near him. Whether fiddling with mechanics or the turning of gears on his wings, Tylin is never a quiet dragon. He’s always talking about various inventions or ideas he or his family have created. Tylin isn’t afraid to team up with other engineers or talented dragons to get something done as long as it is for a good cause. Tylin is viewed to be a good natured and kindhearted dragon because of both his personality and work and has one of the best reputations in the Sanctuary. Tylin does have the odd quirks of hating books and solitude. He hates trying to stumble through a lengthy book to explain a certain process, preferring to have it explained quickly to him. Tylin has a fear of being alone for too long except while involved with designing or working and is consistent at dragging someone along everywhere. ABOUT History Tylin was born in the Sanctuary’s Water branch but dragged around by his mother everywhere. If Autumn had a job to do at the main lair, so did Tylin. If she had a commission outside of the territory, so did Tylin. Autumn never minded his company and in fact immensely enjoys it to the present day. The only problem originally during some trips was the fact Tylin struggled at flying. His wings, unlike his mother, were too short to be of use and while young he didn’t have the stamina to keep up on longer trips. Autumn understood he needed some sort of help in the area and designed with his help the first version of his prosthetic wings. The first few versions were rough and though they did help, it wasn’t enough to Tylin’s standards. He spent many months trying to design new and stronger versions, each better than the last. Tylin eventually came up with a design that he liked and constructed it carefully. His dedication earned his mother’s pride as well as the ability to keep up easier. When Tylin’s teenage trip to leave the Sanctuary was an easy decision. Autumn actively encouraged him to return to her roots in the Shifting Expanse, and he went eagerly. Tylin wanted a chance to learn under those that were not his mother and he found that chance at the Turrets of Goldensparc. A clan took Tylin in during this time and he was assigned a mentor. His mentor found Tylin’s skills to be almost master level already and taught the few things he could before sending Tylin to someone with stronger skills. Tylin spent almost six years between various mentors learning what he could, even serving a brief time as one of Stormcatcher’s employees at Tempest Spire. However, Tylin was homesick during these years and eventually returned to the Sanctuary after learning all he could. When Tylin returned to the Sanctuary he was surprised by the growth that had concurred. The actual Sanctuary had expanded into a large underground city and there was clear growth everywhere he looked. Autumn joyfully welcomed Tylin back, proclaiming her worries over his extended absence as well as the pride at how well he had grown. Not only had Tylin’s skills grown but so had his personality and body. Not a lanky teenager anymore but a strong young adult Wildclaw, Tylin also had more confidence than ever. Tylin soon started his own workshop in Profession Plaza with the intent of crafting well made but cheap prosthetics for those that needed them. He didn’t want them to be expensive and would have preferred to make them free if he didn’t need a source of income. Either way he enjoyed making something uniquely his style that would help other dragons like himself. At some point Tylin grew burdened under the weight of crafting the prosthetics as well as dealing with the selling and bills that came with it. He sent out a request for a secretary or assistant and was rewarded with Sybilline. Sybilline, unlike Tylin, enjoyed books, accounting, and money handling. She was excellent at her job as Tylin’s assistant (or secretary as some put it) and Tylin appreciated her efforts. He invited her to dinner when he had time and it soon became a regular thing for the pair to spend their dinners chatting together. Tylin loved relating to Sybilline in their various works and chats, as well as loving her very presence. He declared his intentions to court her only a few months after meeting her, winning Sybilline’s heart and her willingness to become mates. Currently Most of Tylin’s days are spent in his workshop or with his family on a job. He does love visiting the Hatchery to spend time with the hatchlings there, as well as donate prosthetics to them if they need it. Tylin also tries to spend time with friends as much as possible as long as his work for the day is over. When not doing any of his everyday activities Tylin is spending time with his family. Whether that be his parents, siblings, mate, or children, Tylin makes time for them. He is devoted to his family in a way admirable to most and is a loving father. Tylin teaches his hatchlings the same way Autumn taught him, dragging them along to learn firsthand. Of course, he only does this with the approval of Sybilline who views some of the projects to be too dangerous for young hatchlings. Tylin is still upgrading his own wing prosthetic with his new designs and technology each year. He also tries to use other technology to enhance his work including goggles that could magnify what he’s looking at. FAMILIAR BACKGROUND/PERSONALITY Tylin uses Workshop Monitors to ensure that nothing is stolen while he is gone as well as ensure an early warning for if one of his projects are about to explode or catch fire. It's happened more often than Tylin is willing to admit. SKILLS & HOBBIES Under Sybilline's advice Tylin has tried to learn to patience to deal with money handling. Despite her patient teaching Tylin struggles and usually finds an excuse to leave. Years of grappling with stubborn bolts and nails have given Tylin excellent strength. It's unwise to fight him head-on or with him having access to any sort of weapon because he'll use that strength to his advantage. His speed on the ground makes Tylin hard to catch when he wants and he isn't afraid to back out of a fight he can't win. What Tylin lacks in magical strength is made up for easily by his physical might and speed. ALTERNATE LOOKS/FORMS EXTRA |

RANDOM LORE TIDBITS

Today's story is inspired by me completing Tylin's bio and lore!
Autumn winced as she looked back to see her son's faltering flying. She knew better than to fly this long without giving him a break but her commissioner wanted the project finished and delivered today. Glancing ahead to check the distance and sun's progress, Autumn slowed down. "Let's rest now, we've got a few more hours before we get there." Her son grateful banked towards the ground coming to a less than graceful landing. Autumn landed next to him, warily checking their surroundings. The meadow they'd landed in was open and there wasn't any immediate dangers nearby.
"Mommmm, I'm hungry!" Autumn chuckled and tossed a small parcel of food towards her son's waiting claws. He tore into the package and devoured the small meal in a few bites, sniffing the ground hopefully for a few crumbs. She took the brief distraction to look more closely at his wings in hopes of finding a solution.
"What if we make a support..." Autumn mumbled quietly, taking a few materials out of her bags. "Maybe like this... No, more over here... How is it Tylin?" Tylin had been looking confused between the makeshift wing support and his mother as she put it on him but now tried to fly a bit with it.
"Hey! I feel a bit stronger! How'd you do that Mom?" Autumn continued looking doubtfully at the construct as he soared around the meadow before answering.
"Just a bit of this and that. I'll have to upgrade it and probably fully replace it when we have the time. It should hold up for this trip though. Just DON'T TOUCH THAT!" Tylin had landed and was hesitantly starting to poke the contraption, freezing over a bolt when Autumn yelled. "Let's.. Just go now. Before you accidently break it. I'd prefer to be at a place with proper supplies when that happens. Come on now!"
Autumn leaped into the air with a strong flap of her wings, Tylin following soon after. The mother and her son whirled off towards their destination, the little dragonet's wings flapping with more strength than before.
