DESCRIPTION
A lifelong writer and dreamer, Cleo has finally gotten serious about turning zeir talent for writing into a career, only to be sabotaged by years and years of bad habits like zeir lack of self-discipline, consistency, and basic ability to ever meet a deadline. Cleo's currently slumming it in Flotsam Town, taking up freelance gigs wherever zey can get them and stopping by Cascade on zeir off-hours to pester some of zeir friends still working there. Cypress has offered zem a job as a creative writer on the Cascade staff more than once, but Cleo is secretly a little scared of the responsibility. Freelance work will do for now.

EARLY LIFE
Cleo was born to the wealthy and illustrious Moonscale Clan; a clan you'll never guess the typical appearance of, in the Turrets of Goldensparc. Zeir entire life was predestined the second the egg containing zem was laid. Child of luxury and high education, Cleo lived with the assurance that zey would inherit the position of Grand Archivist for the clan's expansive library, (a position previously held by zeir grandsire) a prestigious and rewarding vocation that'd give zem access to hundreds of years of clan history.
But, contrary to the expectations of all, Cleo decided early on that zey wanted to live abroad, travel and meet dragons from other flights. Zey rejected the position, telling zeir family that zeir heart was with writing, not archiving. This caused a... lets say, somewhat tumultuous bi-lineal and multi-generational debate that culminated in Cleo leaving without a word to anyone.

Maybe Cleo will feel secure enough to reach out after zey start seriously publishing zeir work, but for now Cleo is trying to build the skills that zeir family never fostered, valued, or even thought zey needed to have in the first place.
