Zean

Zean originally gathered his modest clan in the Windswept Plateau of his birth, as his clan began to grow, he established a council of several first generations dragons. The council began to discuss exploring other lands and they settled on a move to the Shrieking Wilds. A miraculous thing occurred when Zean passed through the dense overgrowth, a glow engulfed his massive Guardian form! His clan was blinded by the brightness and when they were able to open their eyes they were shocked to see a regal ancient Veilspun in his place. Zean's mate was horrified to see that no longer was the father of her children standing next to her. She backed away and refused to move forward. Zean begged her to follow, as did her son Azlem. Azlem begged her to have faith in their new deity, saying that there must be a plan for this amazing miracle. Ragdoll would not be moved by her beloved son or even her Granddaughter.

Zean had no choice, but to leave his mate behind with several of his own grandchildren that also could not see the plan in having their grandparents split apart. With a heavy heart they moved on to establish a lair. Several days later they found an abandoned lair with large roosts for them to begin their new life in this foreign land. A few weeks into finding this perfect place he was approached by a strange, yet intriguing Veilspun whom he had never seen before. Xylina made her claim on Zean known to all rather quickly, and the fierce clan leader seemed to quickly forget his lost mate, whom he loved dearly. Zean’s own son expressed his dismay when Xylina was found nesting only days later. There were several whispers of potions and sorcery that had caused Zean to become so enamored of this strange creature.

Two beautiful daughters were born of the pairing. Zinnia took after her mother in looks and was studious, her sister was more adventurous leaving the lair soon after hatching.
