Ella

She hesitates, nervous.
"I.. It's lonely. I don't remember my birth family, or even the family that must have taken me in. I was very young when I was turned. Mossie found me alone, but the Faeries couldn't raise me. So, she gave me up to the mortals. All I've ever known is Litore, and I can't picture anything else."

She takes a deep breath.
"Sorry, I rambled too much. To answer your question... It's very lonely. If I ever met a true veilspun, I have a feeling I'd be an outsider."

Ella has lived in the town since she was very young. She got turned into a veil as a hatchling, and doesn't remember her previous family. She doesn't remember her swarm or the family that must have taken her in as their own. She got lost shortly after she was turned, and Mossie found her. She realized this small hatchling was a veilspun. After much debate, she gave Ella to the town of Litore during the Spring Equinox. Yes, Veilspun and Faeries are very similar and possibly related, but Ella was mortal and had different needs that they couldn't take care of. So, Mossie turned her over to the mortals.

Ella was raised by almost the whole town, who collectively agreed to keep silent about Veilspuns. She has a very odd skillset as a result- she can weave fabric, garden, and she has an interest in blacksmithing that she hasn't pursued yet due to her size.

Celtic views her as almost a little sister. She attends the solstice and equinox meetings with him, Retma, and Jaxwil. The faeries monitor her development during these meetings (officially- everyone knows they just love seeing her)

She ages slower than the moderns she's met, but quicker than a faerie. She's roughly around how a eleven or twelve year old human would be- not an adult, but not quite a teenager or child either. No one knows why she ages that way. They're not sure if it's a just-Ella trait, or a veilspun trait- she's the only one any of them have met. (This is my in-lore reasoning for her being a permababy)

Ella has a disjointed sense of identity due to her odd situation- raised by moderns and exposed to the modern world much quicker than the rest of her species. She has no idea how much she'd have in common with another veilspun, and she doesn't really know if she wants to find out.
