Biography

Lavender Clan Lore, pt. 3
Goldie paced around his lab, taking notes on the latest few treasures he'd found. "Curious." He said, with a meteor in one hand. "This meteor must have originated from-" Just then, a knock sounded on the door. Nobody ever comes to visit. Who could this be? He wondered, as he opened the door.
The stranger on the other side was a black and gold guardian dragon, shimmering all over. Stunned by her rather intimidating presence, Goldie took a step back. "H-hello. Who are you?" He asked tentatively.
"My name's Candra," The mysterious dragon said. "The Arcanist told me you were one of his top scientists, and that I was supposed to assist with repairing some of your things."
It is true that most of my telescopes and tools are broken. Maybe this Candra dragon is telling the truth, Goldie thought warily.
"Alright." Goldie said. "But don't try taking anything. I'll be watching."
Without a word, Candra started to get to work on a nearby telescope.
Goldie sighed, and caught notice of Candra's golden-yellow eyes. "You're from Light, huh?"
"Uh-huh," Candra said. "But I grew up in the Lightning flight. Then, I got caught in the Southern Icefield looking for supplies, and a friend helped me escape. Here I am now."
Goldie was surprised. Candra was a long way from home. "Why didn't you go back to the Shifting Expanse?" He asked.
"I hated it there. I was used, not cared for. I can only hope that never happens here." The guardian dragon proceeded to fix the telescope, no longer paying attention to Goldie.
"You look smart. You'll fit right in here." Goldie smiled. "Seems like you've been through a lot. Do you want some food?" Why was I being so generous to a complete stranger? Goldie thought, irritated with himself. One who might just be some thief? His brain said not to, but his heart instantly became attached to Candra anyways.
"You don't know how long it's been since I've had a real meal." Candra said. "Do you have any rabbit?"
"Alright. Yeah." Goldie said awkwardly. It was a strange feeling, but he somehow knew, deep down, that he was doing the right thing.
