SwizzlePop

In the days before the veilspun revealed themselves, magic sparked across Sornieth in wild and unpredictable patterns, causing mischief and mayhem in nests everywhere. On the morning SwizzlePop cracked his egg a blitz of veilspun magic struck his core and changed him, immutably, into a small, flittering thing. His parents, Baldur and Volta, being steeped in colourful magic of their own, rolled with the strange form their hatchling had taken and treated him no different than his siblings - although with a little more care, as his small body was delicate and his thorns quickly hardened into razor points.

SwizzlePop adopted his mother's penchant for joy and happy events, reveling easily and often.

During his travels he felt an intense pull to the territory of the Lightweaver, and as he approached the border his magic brushed against another's. It was strikingly similar to his own and he chased the feeling until running headlong into another tiny dragon - looking at the other dragon was like looking into a mirror! SwizzlePop had met CandyBlast, and the two felt an instant connection and comradery. CandyBlast had also been travelling, exploring the world and trying to find answers for her change. She relayed everything she had learned in the Wispwillow Grove as they journeyed together, following the feeling that pulled SwizzlePop into the LightWeaver's territory.

The two flew into Se'Asa territory on one of the rare days TotenHerz was outside exercising her familiar - they were caught up the starsweeps mists and had to be gently extracted by TotenHerz and her guard that day, Azure. After explaining their situation, the two felt the strange pull deeply and asked to explore the lair during their stay.
SwizzlePop raced through the tunnels, with CandyBlast hot on his heels, and they burst into The Meadow bathed in the glowing crystal light. On their arrival the Guardian Goalers woke up and greeted them with old magic outstretched - the flowers in the clearing popped open and grew at an astounding speed, blanketing the grass with colour and scent.

SwizzleBlast knew he had found the source of the pull - he was finally, truly, home.
