Yeamokar
Once a heavily closed off clan bound by blood, an almost violent loyalty to their kin, and based in the Blacksand Anex, the Yeamokar based their lives around the metalworking fire clans are known for and one of the only things plague clans share, a brutal will to survive. Through bared teeth and bloodied claws they carved into the side of the Great Furnace and made their home there as one of the oldest groups to reside in the Anex. As descendants of the Flamecaller's original children, they valued their blood as highly as the steel they forged with, and scoffed at the notion any other element, or even a fire dragon with a single ancestor not of fire descent, was equal to them.
And to their credit, the weapons, armor, and other metal crafts they forged were legendary. Each piece was rumored to be imbued with the maker's own blood (continue history)
Perhaps their hubris was their downfall. Determined to continue their growth, they continued to dig into the Great Furnace, and like cutting into a vein, the blood of the Ashfall Waste was spilled directly into the homes of the Yeamokar, melting their structures with dragons still inside, and dragging hundreds into the ocean, where the currents took them to their demise. (continue description of horrible events that scattered survivors)
As secretive as they were, I was able to learn of a rite their youngest would endure to truly become members of their community. (continue about rite of passage)
