Invernale is the head coliseum trainer for the Poisondrip Clan. She trained with her sisters Peebles and Terrorball, and the three of them still frequently work together to mine the coliseum and train other dragons. Where her two sisters have interests and hobbies outside of the coliseum, the coliseum is Invernale's life. She finds fulfillment in her work. She enjoys the physical activity, providing for both her clan and her deity, spending time with her sisters, and aiding dragons in reaching their full potential.

When Invernale is not training or mining, she spends her time with the hatchlings. She, Janeway, and Truart have become good friends, and the two nursery heads are always grateful for the extra help. The hatchlings adore Invernale, for she has an outgoing and welcoming personality and isn't afraid to play rough with them. Many of the hatchlings taken in for fodder are put at ease about their destiny to serve the Shadowbinder after playing and training with the spiral.
