The smallness of a Veilspun brings caution. It is not prudent to rush out into the world, where almost everyone is larger than you. So when the Veilspun left the Wispwillow Grove they sent out scouts, who used their powers of illusion and transformation to infiltrate many different clans.
When Wisp left the grove she flew towards the territories of the Flamecaller, where she found a clan of dragons with strange abilities. She watched for a long while as the dragons below her teleported, changed shape, and talked to the dead. Their abilities to twist the sight of dragons was powerful, but she was confident in her own abilities.
It was the imp that caught her eye first, the one who spent his time in the darkness of a decaying mansion, and the one the ghosts were attracted to the most. He was inquisitive and prone to asking many questions of the undead residents of the clan, and she knew she could use this to her advantage. All she had to do was catch his attention.
Wisp concentrated, and her scales rippled with colours until they settled on saffron and iris. The same colours as the imperial known as Ghast. With a smile with flung herself from her perch high atop a tree and approached him. His eyes lit up with curiosity, and she knew her entrance into the clan was secured.
Same prim and sec as Ghast.
