No one knows where the origin of the Poison Claw have evolved. Some say it is from the lands of the Plaguebringer, that the poison was from a contagion long ago from the time when the Gladekeeper and her fought for dominance all those many years ago. Some claim it was the lands of the Shadowbinder where the deadly strain took hold, to be able to strike from the shadows. For it is said that in the beginning these dragons did not have brightly colored wings and their bright bone markings. Just glowing claws with their deadly venom. That they were a blight of the land for in ancient times they were voracious creatures that hunted from the shadows and fouled their kill so none other than their kind could consume it. Because of this the great dragon gods came together to discuss what needed to be done to keep these dragons in check before they fouled all regions of the world.   It was then that it was decided that these dragons needed to be marked for all of Sornieth to see. To be as brightly colored as the claws they used. Gone were the metallic wings and replaced by those of a brighter nature, radioactive and patterned to represent the poison they carried. But this was not enough. They were also given radioactive skeletal markings. No longer could they needlessly attack from the shadows for their great wings and bright markings gave them away forcing them to adapt. Most lineages of these dragons died off, it is unknown if any of them have gone extinct. Their new appearance forced them to settle into small clans most of which were shunned by other dragon kind.  Now hatchlings and dragons of this cursed lineage look to find homes among those that will accept them.  To prove that their ancestry should not be the judge of who they are.
