Endora

With her scales the blackest of obsidian and as shiny as the polished stone hey are named after Endora's wings and bone patterns stood out instantly as a hatchling. Despite being born in the Shifting Expanse she was seen as an ill omen in her clan of origin. She was not hatched in her origin lair but found by them and taken under wing for but a few weeks before being chased out. She was found by Proboscis on his way back to Storm Caller's reach after spending some time in the Mire training interns who were willing to serve the Boss of the Lightning clans, Stormcatcher. She was a bit wild and aggressive when he stumbled across her. He actually found it quite endearing in its own way as she tried to chase him away, quite unsuccessfully. She was just a few days old and Proboscis knew that she had to be hungry and that was how he won her over, by making her 'hunt' easy. Her ghost pattern almost seemed to glow as she stalked the still remains of the black wing cloaker that he laid out in just a way that it looked like it was still alive, for it was prey that was still too large for a hatchling to take down on their own, but boy was she proud of herself when she had.

He spent a few days out in the wastes of the Expanse working with Endora to be able to bring her back to the Stormcaller's Reach clan with him. He spun a tale of a handsome wildclaw hatchling who needed a friend and he felt that she would be perfect. Due to the great pink and carmine ridgeback's kindness and his ability to tell a tale as charming as he did. It made Endora want to travel with the massive ridgeback to meet the hatchling he introduced as Zorilla. The time it took them to travel back to the lair allowed the unlikely pair to get to know one another better and he could tell that Endora was a very special hatchling. He was looking forward to watching her grow and see what sort of place she made for herself within the clan. 

Upon arriving at the Clan, Endora was introduced to Kythra, the clan Matriarch. Endora was just as much of a spitfire to Kythra as she had been to Proboscis, she growled and flared her brightly colored wings an fluffed up her mane to make herself look bigger than she actually was. The great sky and navy guardian just chuckled as the tiny dragonling before her and her bright ferocity. The matriach was not even offended when she bowed her great head to be level with the tiny imperial and was attacked for her efforts. Proboscis on the other hand was mildly mortified as was Sanguine Snow her bonded. Kythra did not even seem phased by the little one's actions for her tiny claws could not even scratched her hardened scales but she admired her tenacity and welcomed Endora to the clan with open wings. Since Proboscis was the one that found her, Kythra put him in charge of looking after Endora till she came of age to carve out her own personal hoard space within the clan's massive lair.Proboscis was apprehensive about taking care of the hatchling for that duration of time, for he had not had hatchlings of his own in a very very long time, which only caused Kythra to grin and also put Zorilla in his charge as well, figuring that it would be better for Endora to have another dragon around that was close to her age.  Thus began Proboscis' unusual family as well as Endora's.

For Endora Probosis was the best father figure that she could have, she constantly followed the great shadow ridgeback around asking questions about him and his connection to the Shadowbinder's lands, why he left, what shadow magic was like, why did he spend so much time in the coliseum. She wished to know everything. It was what started her down the path of becoming a shadow mage. This was not somethign that was detoured when Zorilla was introduced into her and Proboscis life and sometimes she would lay down next to the wildclaw while he wrote in his tome while the great ridgeback would share his stories. Little would royal wildclaw know that in the beginning after their intial getting to know one another stage, Zorilla's presence actually helped her sleep easier. There were times when she would wake up snarling and thrashing about due to some unknown nightmare from the past and had been sleeping curled up in the crook of Proboscis' forearm most nights where the ridgeback could reach her easily enough when she needed to be woke from the darkness of her own mind.
