With the tender love of the hatchlings he used to care for, he parted from the castle he used to serve in, fleeing under strict orders.

Through mountains and caves, he spent years unearthing hidden tablets and books, expanding his already vast knowledge, focused on anything but the gruesome massacre that he was spared from.

Now, he's barely more than a slave, body and mind alike used for the queen's satisfaction.

Stumbling into the fortress, he had found an ancient library, filled with secrets unknown. If only he had know what terror looked upon him from the shadows.
