Forbearing, Cordial, Astute
A popular location to enjoy an evening treat, the Sorneith Shave Ice parlor is full of life and sweet energy. The busy little shop hustles and bustles as the orders are prepped and filled. The quickly moving Nocturne behind the counter happily douses her creations in bright colored syrups and all those within are cheerfully enjoying their selections. It is the most popular venue in the lair, and it is frequented by many denizens of the Fortress of Ends. Tonight a couple of dragons, Elpihae and Gwenfor, are peering into the counter area, requesting a special treat; Key Lime, a sweet concoction of Lime zest and Meringue, with hints of Orange. They watch the spectacle of its production with eager anticipation, and wait patiently for the call, “Orders Up!”.  Gwenfor enjoyed most of his evenings in the Travelers Way pub, an establishment attached to the lair Inn; there on most evenings, he could be found watching those who passed in and out of the lair. His father had left the clan many moons ago with a group of travelers and his brothers and sisters, and while he had intended to follow, he had an inkling to wait a bit longer. Gwenfor participated in various activities for the clan, but still hadn’t really found a passion. After a day's work he would return to his favored spot, a little candlelit nook, and would nurse his drinks. The bartender Priniirn had become his friend, and when he pointed out the pretty newcomer, Eliphea, Gwenfor accepted his guidance. The two now share evenings watching the passing through traders and enjoy nursing their drinks together. Offspring of this pair are smart and easy-going, and can be found playing guards and thieves in the alley behind the Inn. Their giggles are loud and punctuated. |
