Presumably, Tincture was born in the deep currents of the spiral keep, among a flourishing ridgeback colony. She herself remembers little of the depths and only snippets of her parents, lit by the glow of luminous undergrowth and prophetic magic.

While playing as a hatchling, she was swept away by violent trench-tides. It will always remain a mystery how she survived the changes in pressure, as she was found by slavers, alive, but bleeding from all orifices, on the shores near the Highlands.

Although anyone could see how she'd grow into a beauty, her fading health marked her as fodder. As a result, she was sold relatively cheaply in the nearest city to the passing clan founders.

After healing in lightning territory, Tincture was raised in the teahouse alongside her brothers. By then, Tempest had already settled in. Since none of them were too sure about their exact date of birth, he was elected as the eldest. Tincture, although sickly, was a talented brewer and daring fighter with a big heart and a sense of responsibility. As a result, she smoothly stepped into the role of an elder sister and later, as a leader.

Tincture has steady claws and supple wrists that give her beverages a magical flair.
