THE CHRONICLER is a duty passed from generation to generation within the Order of Winderost. Due to the nature of this honored task, apprentices will be given fragments of memories of the former chronicler upon their exaltation, so that the new chronicler may better serve the clan.
BLINKWOOD has preserved the role of chronicler longer than any before her. Within her grand library of scrolls and books, runes and tablets, she maintains and protects pieces of history and knowledge of her clan.

THE PRIMARY CURATOR FOR THE CLAN -- Argenteus maintains and guards the massive hoards and items of wealth of the Order of Winderost. He may be willing to trade or sell should your steps into his domain be wary.

EMINENT INDIVIDUALS:

WISTWURM - THE PATRIARCH

THE PATRIARCH OF THE ORDER OF WINDEROST -- Wistwurm claims to be as old as the most ancient of trees adorning the Tangled Wood. Whether this is actually true remains to be seen -- but true or not, the elders of the clan certainly know Wistwurm to be a formidable opponent and a nightmarish enemy. The lightning crashes of his roars echo across the domains of the Tangled Wood and the trees themselves bend to his will.

TIMBERROCK - THE MENDER

TIMBERROCK THE MENDER has harnessed and perfected his craft over centuries of careful studying and practice; broken bones and shattered teeth need not be feared with Timberrock in the vicinity, though his persistent browbeating and nagging one may.

ZHAROS - THE SHADOW

THE SHADOW OF THE WINDEROST, Zharos, had laid claim to the territory deep within the Tangled Wood before even the dragons of the Winderost had placed talons on its ghastly soil. He cursed and spouted vulgarities at the creatures for thieving his land -- but knowing there were far too many dragons to challenge and only one of him, he reluctantly withdrew. Now, centuries later, Zharos still wanders the edges of the Winderost's territory as an outcast; a shadow.

GIANT'S STEP
The highest tier dragons of the Order of Winderost dwell within Giant's Step, where food and plant-life is more lush and the evergreens grow taller than the giants this land is named for. The dragons that claim their domain in Giant's Step certainly have reason to be respected, or feared...

MOUNTED CHASMS
The deepest and darkest of caverns and chasms in the Winderost hold the lairs and dens of the second tier of the Order, where most of the ordinary and regular dragons dwell.

NIGHTFALL JUNCTION
Visitors or travelers to the Winderost dwell here for a time. Some may or may not decide to stay, should they find that they've become partial to the nightmarish surroundings. Most, however, simply leave as soon as possible.

THE WASTES
The lowest tier, outcast from the high ranks of the Winderost dragons. Those who dwell in these wastelands seldom last long enough to rise through the ranks.

THE UNDERWOOD
Deep within the undergrowth of Winderost, what one might mistake as tremors and quakes is actually the colossal slumber of dragons beneath the earth, resting for weeks, years, or centuries -- until it is time to reawaken.

THE WINDEROST ARCHIVES

The grand library within one of the many ruins of Tangled Wood -- with great spiral staircases worn from the ages and shelves upon shelves of books and scrolls that stack as high as the trees, all contained within the depths of the earth.

THE GREAT HOARD
The overflowing coffers of the Order of Winderost. Here the precious treasures and trinkets are kept under lock and key, guarded and maintained by the Collector, Argenteus.
