Chaos

Chaos, once a weak and helpless fae, called out in fear when he was cornered by the beast clans. His helpless cries were heard by the Arcanist, who felt pity for the young dragon, granted him a new form which frightened away the beast clans in a burst of terror.
Unsure how to feel about his transformation, he wandered the lands wandering into the domain of the Gladekeeper he had wandered strait into the Viridian Labyrinth. New to these lands he continued on farther and father in. After many moons he stumbled upon a female, her green eyes glitter along her body. A body much like his. First met with hostility and confusion he learned she was changed much like himself. She once being a spiral.
Days turned into weeks and weeks into years and they grew closer. The female calling her self Agaricaceae. After the yellow fungus like things on her body. Growing tired of the lush forests Chaos wished to continue his exploration he started many years ago. With a heavy heart he shook himself heading to speak with the she-dragon he had come to care for. Much to his surprise she asked to join him not wishing to part with him. His heart exploded with joy and he moved forward to hug her, unsure what he was doing she attempted to move out the was causing them to share a kiss.
After that awkward kiss they set off on their journey. Strangely enough neither regretted it, if anything they wish is had lasted longer than a split second. After many days traveling they stumbled into the Shifting Expanse. Unsure of this land they settled down at the edge where they finally had to face each other and speak about what had happened.
Confessing his feelings he had tried to keep buried felt liberating, there was an awkward silence before Agari leaned forward giving him a kiss on each head confirming she felt the same. From that say on they were mates. Deciding to give this new land a try they settled down. The land where their love was brought to the surface. Years past and they were blessed with a nest of two beautiful eggs and another two a few months later. Sadly one day during hunting the two oldest and the youngest wandered off onto the Expanse never to be seen again. Their hearts heavy as they searched for their missing hatchlings only to come up empty clawed.
Their remaining hatchling a daughter they named Rhen grew up into strong young dragon but was lonely. Agari and Chaos worried for their hatchling. Their treasure, and debated starting their journey once more. During one of these tough discussions Rhen rushed in to her parents layer holding a grey and blue mass on her back crying for their assistance trying to explain she saw him crash near by their little home.
Agari rushed to her daughters side as Chaos gently moves the downed dragon to a next. Fortunately the new comer was only knocked out from the impact of the fall. All three breath a sigh of relief setting him up for the night. As the day turned to night the strange dragon woke up with a start and groaned in pain. His head throbbed and he attempted to stand stumbling only to be held up by Rhen. She ushered him to sit asking where he had come from, where he was heading. He replied with hesitation that he had come from the Windswept Plateau and had gotten stuck in an air current and blown here where he had crashed.
The two talked for a long, long time. His name was Stoic. Stoic wasn't sure about flying quite yet. Chaos offered a place for him to say and he couldn't help but take up his very kind offer. After a few days he knew he was ok to fly, he kept putting it off longer and longer wishing to spend more time with Rhen. They grew closer as time passed eventually becoming mates.
It had been many years after their last nest and one night Chaos and Agari was yet again blessed with a clutch of eggs, Three this time. Rhen and Stoic were also blessed with a clutch of eggs. Chaos was now worried about the abundance of food in this dessert and after a long talk with his mate, child and son in law decided to migrate back to the Labyrinth once their little ones hatched and were big enough to leave.
Chaos stood watch over the eggs, a loud crack sounded from one of them. One of his was starting to hatch and soon to his shock all 6 were hatching. Him and Agari gained three beautiful sons. While their daughter gained two sons and a daughter. Their family grows larger and larger as the days pass. What does fate have laying in wait for them next?
