About

There's not much to say about Leon's current life, since he's not alive anymore. Without the proper maintenance, his mechanical body eventually fell apart, leaving nothing but a pile of rusted plates, frayed wires, and shattered glass.

Story

Actaeon's second-in-command, Leon, has only a slightly less terrifying reputation than his boss. A charming Wildclaw, he often posed as Actaeon's secretary, gathering information about quarries under the guise of running paperwork errands, and relaying it back to Actaeon, who could then plan his hunt. If the quarry managed to slip through his claws, Leon would be right there to help bring them in. He relished the looks on their faces when he revealed himself as a ruthless hunter instead of a mild-mannered secretary.

One hunt, tracking down a Pohip with Actaeon and a few members of their gang, Leon got into an accident. The pack had let their guard down, Pohips weren't known to be violent, but this one turned on Leon and viciously attacked him, leaving him grievously injured. Actaeon sent the rest of the hunters to take Leon to get medical attention, and went after the Pohip himself, determined to finish the job despite his top officer being mortally wounded. There was no way Leon would make it. His wounds were deep, and his body was rapidly failing. Actaeon would not let his second-in-command die, so he embarked on his most dangerous hunt yet. Rumors had reached him of an organization that build androids and cybernetic augments for dragons. Tracking a supply shipment of electrical components, he invaded a PROJECT warehouse and kidnapped a scientist and a top-of-the-line combat android. At their lair, the PROJECT scientist was forced to place Leon's brain into the android's body. The scientist resisted, a procedure like this had never been performed in these circumstances, nobody knew what would happen to Leon's psyche. Actaeon didn't care, and threatened the scientist until they carried out the procedure. Components inside the android's shell were removed, replaced, and shuffled around to make room for the tank holding Leon's brain, which was hooked up to the android's remaining sensors and components.

Leon awoke to sensations he had never felt before. Gone were the feelings of touch, of smell, replaced by binary sequences. Nothing was the same. He didn't need to eat, or breathe, or speak with vocal cords, or do any of the things his flesh body had. The only thing that stayed constant was the thrill of the hunt, which he began seeking out more and more. Actaeon put him on solo missions, but the prey rarely came out in one piece, Leon's brain being unable to translate the binary signals in time to keep his threats from coming true. A simple claw laid on the throat became deadly. Actaeon called in the scientist, called in being generous for a prisoner, and ordered them to fix Leon's bloodlust. The scientist tried, but couldn't do much. Actaeon, frustrated, took a solo job to get away from the place, unknowing that it would be his last as a living dragon. Leon took up command in his absence, and immediately began making changes. The strain of translating binary code had flayed his brain, driving him completely mad. Leon began hunting members of his own gang, no longer caring about money from jobs or keeping the gang together. Dragons began fleeing in droves, until he was the only one left. The gang's lair is a ghost town now, a place for other gangs to send dragons they want to get rid of. Nobody makes it out of Leon's grasp.
