Monk

despite his name, monk prefers to deal with things tooth and claw (after a couple of words that one might consider short of polite, of course.)

his hat is always strapped on to "protect his eyes" he says.
okay, he will admit it, maybe it's because he feels naked without it. maybe the infamous and furious drgaon does have a rare, soft side. maybe he puts on a front. maybe he feels like he is faking everything.

and maybe others notice.

he is aggressive for past good reasons, but the present does not favor his continuous hostility to most dragons.

there's a small, worn and torn tin bell that hangs from the left of his hat's chinstrap.
the ball inside that's supposed to make a pleasant jingle is missing, and the bell rings empty with every swift movement of his head.
