Biography
Scourge is a ruthless fae who has travelled far and wide, spreading the infection and the words of her Mother. It is her purpose in life, her reason for existance, and she'd have it no other way. She's overcome many things in her time- other plague dragons who do not understand in the way she does, beings larger and stronger than her who are still not stronger than the infection, those who would wish to stop her from acheiving her goals, and many many others.
There has been times she's nearly fallen, nearly failed. An imperial, calling her a demon, tried to obliterate her with its light magic. Plague overcame. A clan of veilspun, using sheer numbers, tried to rip her apart. Plague overcomes. A guardian, whose charge she'd so successfully infected, embraced its rage and nearly killed her. But plague will always overcome. She still stands. She still perseveres.
And it is true she sometimes yearns for home, despite knowing she cannot return until she has completed her mission. She wishes for the comfort of a family, a trustworthy wing to rest under, a comfortable nest. But ultimately, she knows these things are all futile in the face of her Mother.
And so she continues on, like she has before. Like she always will, until the Mother finds that her use has worn out.
Pestilence
A nasty little fae. Her only goal in life is to spread The Altar's infection and message, and she has made this very clear. She's one of The High Priestess's most trusted members, and disciplines lower members if they seem to be misbehaving or attempting to obscure others belief in The Altar.

You have accepted a Descendant Of The Altar into your clan.
Perhaps unknowingly, maybe out of curiosity of what may occur with such a being in your presence, but the statement remains. Plague’s calling runs through their bloodline, a roaring entity that yearns for its children to listen and act upon their mother’s impulses and wishes. Their mothers and fathers sent them out into Sornieth alone for that reason, to spread their infection and belief wherever they can, never to return to The Altar unless absolutely necessary. The Mother urges them forward, but a very small few manage to break from the wicked curse upon their bloodline and run as far away as they can from The Altar’s hold.
Maybe your new clanmate will be one to break from this hold, to free themselves from The Mother and redeem their lineage’s sins.
Or perhaps you will let them embrace what their bloodline is meant for, and watch them spread their message across the world.
Or perhaps you will let them embrace what their bloodline is meant for, and watch them spread their message across the world.
All will belong to The Mother regardless.
Your Altar Ancestors.

Regrowth
While not actually a member of The Altar he has heard of the group through casual conversation with Pestilence, although it has not been in much depth. He lives in the tunnels above The Altar, with the simple clan. He remains as one of the caretakers, raising hatchlings that are hatched or found and brought to the clan. Regrowth does not see his own hatchlings much, as his relationship with Pestilence is kept a secret to his clan.

"She appears very enthusiastic to get out and do her work. Her mother has listened to her ramble on about how she will change the world despite being in such a small frame, just like her mother. She is dedicated fully to our cause. I am proud of her, and I will watch over her as if she was my own child."
