Biography

Picea
↠ she / her
↠ Produce Preparer

Picea is calm and somewhat motherly. She works to prepare all of the plants that are consumer by the clan. Her and Alalme are close friends and do their best to keep an eye out for the other forest-dwelling dragons and keep them out of trouble. Her partner is Lón.

Relationships

These two were smitten with each other from their first meeting, and are now steadfast mates. They both care greatly about the forest and its inhabitants, and share a love of nature. They like spending quiet time together, but also respect each others' need for space.

These two are close friends, and often called the mum and dad of the forest dragons. Alalme is a bit of a worrywart, whereas Picea has a little more confidence; "You know, they're not children, Lal. "

The Forest

"Hmm...? A tour? I'm afraid I've very much got my hands full - Miwa, that is not edible! - um, sorry, would you be able to come back later? I'd be more than happy to show you around then."

my writing motivation will hopefully return soon ;v;

Quirks and Headcanons:

  • Despite her motherly nature, she is absolutely terrified of having any children of her own. She fears she would be a terrible parent, despite the fact that that obviously would not be the case.
  • She certainly loves flowers, but her favourite plant is actually mushrooms! She grows a few different varieties in a darker patch of the forest.
  • She comes up with simpler names for plants that dragons she takes on tours would more easily understand; she says them often enough that sometimes she forgets their actual names.
  • For some reason she has a fear of still water; even she couldn't tell you why. It just unnerves her. She does, however, love to sit and relax while listening to flowing streams and bubbling brooks with her mate.
  • The lanterns she keeps are actually filled with a rare breed of fireflies to give them their signature blue glow! The bugs themselves don't seem to mind living in there, otherwise she wouldn't keep them.

Picea, what is your worst fear or darkest secret? Even the best dragons have their moments.
Picea fidgets, looking a little uncomfortable. "Yes, I suppose all dragons do have their moments, and I certainly don't claim to be perfect, even if I try to set an example to those who rely on me. But my greatest fear- though it might sound silly- is the idea of having hatchlings of my own. It just terrifies me! I love to look after others, but the idea of such delicate little things being reliant on me is nerve-wracking, to say the least! But with my mate, it's not something I have to worry about, though I suppose one day I could see us fostering some hatchlings... it would have to be a long way off though!"

Is your familiar well behaved?
"Oh yes, she mostly does her own thing, but she will happily sit beside me and keep me company, especially when it is cold outside. The Forest is teeming with life, so I know that she is not lonely, which makes me all the happier when she wants to spend time with me."

Most Evil-looking Dragon Above You never thought I'd be adding this heading XD

Pt. 1 - She’s going to use me as fertilizer her vibes are too scary

Pt. 2 - how do you think she feeds an entire clan with just one herb garden….. yeah she’s using bodies as fertilizer you cannot convince me otherwise. Her soup is probably very good tho

Pt. 3 - What the heck I’ll try her soup. She seems very nice, on second glance, I mistook her motherliness for hiding something

Pt. 4 - Update: I have been poisoned

What a sweet dragon!! I would love to spend a day or two visiting her, she seems so nice! Plus, I don't think I've seen any pistachio dragons around?? Or at least, none that stand out like her, she's gorgeous.
