In reality, the fate of the rule-breakers is far more disturbing and gruesome.

The victims will usually die in the ways of their most fatal flaws and weaknesses. Afterward, their corpses usually will end up being used to feed the horrors in the mist. Some become mindless servitors for the needs of the clan and its necromancers. An unlucky few may have their bones become the trophies to dangle upon the bodyguard's wings as a reminder of their "favourite memories".

For a few souls, however, their fate will be far more lengthy. If a rule-breaker commits the worst of crimes upon the grounds (or in life), and should the Ringmaster himself see fit, some will be forced to join their clan to make up for their discrepancies... most likely forever. The unwilling souls of their victims are forced into servitude of Riot would say that it is a fate worse than death if they could even speak it...
