Gen 4 Royal Knight

The Knight of the Wandering Trio

'Strong', 'brave', 'noble', "a hero', "a knight". That was what they always wanted Rajaveth to be, to honor and follow his lineage as both a Royal Knight and a Night Warrior, to be a strong and brave as well as noble warrior and knight. And so he did, he trained and trained to be the greatest fighter there ever was, like so many others.

He never had his real parents to train him as like many other Royal Knights, the children were sent to fight and protect other clans. Of course at first his new clan cherished this, they were overjoyed that perhaps he could protect them. But as time went on they soon realized that he wasn't as capable of holding his own than they thought, as they themselves never bothered to train him. Eventually they thought of him as more of a burden than a clanmate, and they wanted him gone. Luckily for him the second in command, and the wife of the clan leader was a kind and loving dragon and wanted to give him a chance, a chance to have a childhood within a clan at the very least. The clan finally agreed that he was allowed to stay until he became an adult and once he was he would leave. But the rest of his stay within the clan was not a comfortable one, as the rest of the clanmates treated him harshly, thinking of him as no more than a burden to carry.

When the time came for him to leave the clan he said his goodbyes to the second in command, thanking her for her help and then packed up his things for the journey ahead of him. The sun had not yet risen but he decided that it was best to leave at dawn, before the rest of the clan woke up; it's not like they would miss him anyways. He also grabbed a set of armor to protect him in his journey should anything attack him. As he finished packing his things, which wasn't a lot, he heard the sound of breaking glass, and then a scream.

Rajaveth rushed to the source of the noise, his heart pounding. What had happened? Was there an attack? Or was someone just overreacting? He didn't know, but he was about to find out. When he got there he saw a group of dragons that had broken into the clan lair, their bodies seemed to not be covered in scales but instead with chitin as dark as night. His "clanmate" laid on the ground trapped within an unknown black substance next to the mysterious dragons. Rajaveth, staying out of sight, rushed to the second in command.

On his way back it seemed that the mysterious dragons had already broken into other parts of the lair. Rajaveth made sure to avoid them, hiding behind corners and objects, waiting for them to pass by. Working his way around the lair, he could hear the crashing of objects and screams and shouts that were abruptly cut off coming from where his clanmates were at. He wanted to help them, but it was too late, there were too many intruders, and why should he even bother helping? They never cared about him, thought of him as nothing but a nuisance.
