Sloan

No carnival would be complete without rollercoasters, and Sloan's designed plenty. Sure, they may not all be survivable, but her fellow performers love to take a spin on her zanier inventions. Her corner of the carnival is always bumpin' with loud music, peppered with screams of terror and delight in equal measure. The neon signs and twinkling bulbs fill the night with looping trails of light. The selection changes weekly; Sloan's always deconstructing and rebuilding new rides for the patrons. Her hands can hardly keep up with her racing thoughts, and she has so many designs to try!

Sloan is one of the few members who actually leaves the carnival for extended periods of time. Rollercoasters can't be built from nothing, after all! Even though she has their explicit permission, it worries Pin and Needle, so she's careful to message them at least twice for every day she's absent. To be fair, she doesn't just leave for parts. Sloan really enjoys her voyages into the outside world, and misses it when she's been cooped up in her workshop for too long. It must be a leftover from her time as a living, breathing flesh-and-bone dragon.

Lately Reverie has been begging to go with her, but there's no way that's ever happening. She gets it, the kid's curious about the world beyond the carnival, but their overprotective abductors/parents would never let them set foot outside the gates. Still, she might try to ask Rev's sister on their behalf. Ragdoll is her girlfriend after all, and if anyone could convince Pin and Needle, it would be her.
