Heart beats like strangers inside of our chest
Don't remember the sun we have tried to forget
All the questions of hope leave our minds in the haze

Lore whining prompt (nov. 4): Your character sniffles. Someone asks, "Are you sick?"
Hecate swiped her paw at her nose and sniffled, resisting the urge to rub at her eyes.
Somnium, her father, looked over at her. "Are you sick?"
It took her a few moments to register the fact that he'd spoken- then a few more to process the question. "What? Oh, no, these are just allergies."
Somnium made a hmm sound deep in his throat, then tilted his head. "Allergies to..?"
Hecate scuffed her paws on the ground and avoided answering.
"Wait- you're allergic to those Mire boars, right? The plant ones- what're they called?"
"Tanglewood boars," she answered automatically, then frowned.
"Please tell me you aren't Mire flying," her father began, but stopped as Hecate vehemently shook her head.
"I'm not! I would never, I don't like fighting." Somnium looked pointedly at the quiver of arrows slung across Hecate's back, and Hecate rolled her eyes. "You know what I mean!"
