Biography
Amelia ran away from home when she was very young. She was barely an hour old, but even then she had had a strong sense of right and wrong. She was born in a Shadow clan, and disliked the trickery she saw in her first few minutes of life. Her mother lied about who her father was. Her siblings lied that they hadn't been fighting behind their mother's back. Her nurse lied and said she'd be a good fit for her clan.
She wouldn't be. She cared about honesty and truth far too much. So on shaky wings, still wet with egg water, she flew away. A brave -- and stupid -- decision for one so young and vulnerable, but her small stature and innate shadow magic enabled her to stick to the darkness and remain unseen by predators. She hopes to find a place where her ironclad moral compass will be of some use.
