The second god to scuttle their way into this world came only because he heard the desparate cries of a forgotten, dying realm. From what little shadows remained, he watched the young Ortusolis' melted sun wreak havoc on those poor, unfortunate, and ungrateful souls. He clicked his mandables in interest, dark hair falling over his face, eyes wide in excitement. He watched as the dragons died in their waxy death, burned and boiled alive. He watched as their souls left their body frightened and confused. He waited for the Death Goddess to collect their souls and bring them to her haven. But her gates were broken down and rusted. The souls began to pile onto each other.
He clacked his mandibles and twitched his antennae eagerly. He scurried up to the stars where the haven rests. Remembering what he was taught, he brought the land of death back to...for lack of a better word, life -but it didn't look the same. It became drippy and dingy, like abandonded trash. He chittered in confusion. When he opened the gates, the beautiful smokey dragon souls swarmed in. The came in waves. The first wave entered and seemed fine for a moment. Then their form solidified a bit. They twisted and clicked. New limbs sprung until they were left as some sort of broken spider-butterfly dragon shape. The faces, however, remained the same but instead of expressing happiness of being in haven, they were twisted in pain. The second wave's souls had legs bursting, mouths being pried apart by giant mangled mandibles. Each wave brought forth new dragon/insect soul crosses. He didn't mind it though. He knew his magic was odd. Now he had a land that looked like him.

NOTES
Morana was the Original Goddess of Death and she spent some time in the Viridian Labyrinth. It was there that an interesting little bug caught her eye. It was a beautiful red and purple bug and she found it eating the carcass of some dead thing. She reached for it and accidentally magiked it into something new. A broken dragon/insect god with a hunger for the dead. She taught him for a while but left him for another mortal dragon whom she loved.
