reminder for my silly little self to change this bio later. i just wrote a really good, new, and improved lore story for him and pooft but i didn't save it before going to another page.... i'm too upset to redo it right now.
groopy is your classic scientist of the dark arts, animating nonliving objects and substances to his will.. or to the will of anyone with 50 treasure to spare, so long as they say "please" and "thank you." when pooft showed up before him, a heap of deconstructed plates and pieces, the scientist got straight to work on the formula to bring it to life. using his eight extra pairs of mist-hands for maximum efficiency in his lab, groopy worked his magic and animated the spirit armor from a smoke-belching cauldron with a powerful POOFT!! hence the name.

being that coatls struggle with verbal speech, groopy finds it incredibly fortunate that his arcane alignment allows for him to conjure runes in the air itself to communicate. that is, if a dragon has bothered learning to read… he and pestylle don’t get along well. when it comes to other non-literate dragons, his trio member and pal magellan comes to his aid, imprinted on groopy closely enough to interpret and translate just what he means.
