this tumbling spire in your soul
and clutch with claws made of pink stone
and be a creature not of home

arcane eating you alive and burning you raw

and trying to run is like trying to fight
a tsunami at dawn and temptation at night
and the moon is above, all the stars blaze alight

Spear was an Arcane mage who was warped by spending long hours in the Starwood Strand practicing magic and attempting to harness the energy of the stars, eventually becoming fused with the forest itself and unable to leave. Now, they wander the strand at night, finally one with the cosmos- but not quite in the way they desired.
