Lineage

Biography

Touchstone
Archeologist

Touchstone takes great pride in his archeologist work, researching the artifacts of the past in conjunction with historians and other studious dragons. He rarely will take anything from ancient places, wishing only to collect a record of what he finds- he is vehemently against removing things from the place they have settled in, believing it important to preserve the untouched state of artifacts he encounters. He thus does not disclose the exact location of artifacts he encounters, and does his best to defend his archeological territory with tooth and claw from those who wish to take them for history museums or personal profit.

He has the expertise necessary to make the exact artifact irrelevant in many cases. His artistic abilities are so photographic, and his descriptions so thorough, that most investigations of the artifacts he records can be done based just on the notes he brings back from his explorations.

He's quite the noble dragon, most would say- but he's quite dry. Lacking in social skills, he struggles to act as an average dragon might outside of archeological and historical circles. He does his best to appear elegant, and he does a good job of it, until he is asked where he'd like to go for lunch...

Relationships

If Touchstone was to trust anyone with the location of an artifact, it would be the clan's Keeper of History, Primar. The two naturally work together quite often considering their locality and respective expertise, and the two get along quite well despite their rather different demeanors. Their mutual respect of each others' careers is the backbone of their relationship, though the two will occasionally speak outside of work as well.
