Aramastrius

There might have been a time, once, when Aramastrius lived among his own kind, lurking in the shadowed woods and playing tricks, but if so, it was a very long time ago indeed. For his earliest memory is waking beside his Sire, Renfeld, hungrier than he had ever been in his life. And this hunger still plagues him even in his unlife, lingering in the Scarred Wasteland with his new, dark family. And there is nowhere he would rather be.

For it is here, with his vampiric kin, that Aramastrius has come into his own. Diminutive in size he may be, but that doesn't stop him from achieving his own goals. To Renfeld, he acts as a sort of informant, and is hardly seen away from his Sire, whispering gods-know-what into his ear. In his mind, he owes Renfeld everything. After all, he wouldn't be what he is now if his Sire hadn't turned him. And while he's prone to bouts of insanity when his hunger becomes too much, Aramastrius would rather be insane than weak. For here, among the Revenants, only the strong survive.

As the first turned by Renfeld, Aramastrius is the Most Beloved, and also the strongest of his kin, second only to Renfeld himself. His skill lies in blood, of course, but from his decepetively tiny maw spews the seeds of chaos and destruction. The living would be wise to avoid him entirely, and even his fellow vampires give him a wide berth.

Personality // Quick-tempered, craft, flighty. Aramastrius has few friends, preferring to keep people at a distance unless they can help him achieve his own ends. He has a tendency to fly off the handle and his greatest fear is losing his freedom. After all, while he gladly serves Renfeld, if something were to happen, he would have no qualms in taking up on his own. To him, personal freedom is paramount.

-- Guardian // If there's one creature Aramastrius loves above all others, it's Vasylisa. She serves as a sort of protector, watching over the small dragon when he's sleeping and frightening off any others that seek to harm him. Vasylisa may not speak, but their bond is so strong that Aramastrius seems to know exactly what she's thinking at any given time; and vice versa.
