Nayda

Nayda is a mysterious Eternally Youthful dragon. No one knows much about Nayda, as they are a selective mute, and on top of that they are very closed off and isolated, often lurking in the waters around the Guild where others will not disturb them. They're quick to flee whenever they're approached, so many simply choose to give the little one their space.

However, there was one dragon that changed Nayda's life.

Ceyrin approached them, calm and soothing and radiating a kind aura. His eyes were big and open, expressive, and Nayda for once did not wish to turn tail and run. They sat alone at the edge of the lake, near the peaceful rumbling waterfall, watching Ceyrin approach.

"Hi, are you hungry?" He asked with a gentle smile, "I haven't seen you eat all day, but eating is important."

Nayda was still for a moment, stunned that Ceyrin had been paying such close attention to them. Slowly, they shook their head, and Ceyrin hummed.

"Would you like to come eat with us?" He offered kindly, and Nayda's walls crumbled.

The little Gaoler nodded and Ceyrin laughed, a musical sound as Nayda cautiously followed him.

"You don't talk much, do you? That's alright! I'm Ceyrin, and I just wanted to make sure you're alright." He said, friendly and genuine, and Nayda was near tears. No one had ever shown them such kindness before.

That evening, Nayda ate the best meal they'd ever had, and became completely enamored with Ceyrin. They vowed to never part from him.
