The pieces and broken like to stay with him, and Mandos cannot recognize them. He cares for them, seeks to make whole or assuage where they might be broken or gone. Never judging, simply being and comforting in the middle space they might dwell.

xxxxxAnd so some in the clan are frightened of him, perhaps a little off when speaking with Baldur, but they can feel the contentment of the spirits surrounding him and eventually begin to feel at peace themselves. He is ultimately a source of comfort despite his ghostly presence
