Wherever there is a project, there must be someone overseeing it. Such is the law in the Lionfish Gang's brigantine, and since Charlotte herself everything, it is up to dragons like Wolf to lend a hand.

Wolf likes to think of themselves a capable, responsible fellow. Unlike other supervisors they have known in the past, they try to get into the trenches with their subordinates, specially with Clemency, aiming to understand not only the work they're expected to do, but the obstacles they're likely to encounter. Wolf cannot spend all of their time there, as logistics and finances often fall under their domain as well, but it certainly makes a difference in team morale when allocating resources and outlining procedures.

One day, though, Wolf would like to take a vacation. There's little time for rest in the brigantine, and sometimes, they dream of spending a year away, just basking in the sunny weather of Porto or anywhere else, really. To get that, though, they're starting to think she's going to need to get a serious promotion, or get fired, and they're not sure they could handle either one of those outcomes.

Terato in the favourite g1 in the lair above: You've got sooooooo many pretty G1s I'm drooling. I've chosen to showcase Wolf. I love how the Abyss Okapi looks on the caramel/spruce. The simple-ish accent and the minimalistic apparel just highlights the beautiful choice of genes further.

xxxxxxxWolf double-checked the scrap of paper in her claws. It was worn, and just that bit soggy from her flight over the ocean, one of many trips in her search. A list of adverts and offerings, various odd jobs and opportunities that she didn’t hate doing. This was the fourth interview of the day, in a long list of ‘we’ll message you back’ and ‘we’ll consider it’. If it wasn’t a straight up offer, Wolf knew that the employers were looking elsewhere. She always hated it when they were oh so ‘polite’, leaving her hanging like that. However, in order for Lovita to eat, she would need to continue her search.

xxxxxxxShe once again groomed herself, before stepping into the palmwood shack. The spiral looked on quizzically at the ramshackle interview room, a ship’s wheel for a table and kegs of alcohol for seats. A white faced snapper had her arms rested in an almost casual manner, beckoning her over.

xxxxxxx– It’s a bit early, but you must be Wolf, right? Grab a chair.

xxxxxxxWolf bit back her tongue. Much as she wanted to snark about her last ‘punctuality test’, she wasn’t going to take the chance. Wolf curled herself around the barrel, doing her best to match her employer’s casual manner, while maintaining the mask of professionalism.

xxxxxxx– I understand that you are looking for a manager for your crew. Do you have any questions about the qualifications I sent? – The spiral kept her expression even, doing her best to read the face behind the mask.

xxxxxxxThe snapper sheathed through her mailed resume, scanning her various exploits in event organization and the like. Peering at her eye, she thought she could see a glimpse of admiration for her hard work.

xxxxxxx– Oh no, you are very well-qualified, hard working too, from the looks of it. I just have one question. Are you familiar with Lobita Lovita? The fashionista? The artist? – The spiral narrowed her eyes, recalling the interviews she lost because of her side endeavors.

xxxxxxx– ...Maybe I do. Are you a fan? – At that response, the snapper let out a hearty, bellowing laugh.

xxxxxxx– Am I a fan? Why don’t you take a look?

xxxxxxxThe snapper rummaged through a cupboard, producing various papers and paintings. A variety of works, from outfit plans to swirling, abstract paintings. It was a sizable collection, all the way back to some of her earliest works. Some even had a signature - a pair of cursive ls in their corner. When the spiral looked up, she could tell her employer was smiling under her mask.

xxxxxxx– ‘Fan’ is an understatement. Your work has always been my favourite. – Wolf choked, looking upon the loving collection of art. Her works. She didn’t need to hide anymore.

xxxxxxx– I’m flattered, but why show me this? How does this relate to the opening?

xxxxxxx– Let’s just say that the opening is filled now. Just save a commission spot for me sometime, yeah? – The snapper gave a knowing wink with her one cyan eye.

xxxxxxxLovita chuckled, as she scanned the paintings once again. Perhaps such a fortuitous opportunity deserved commemoration. The first painting of her new life.
