Biography
The ten of swords card depicts a person with ten swords driven into their body. The upright meanings of the card are along the lines of defeat, betrayal, and loss, while the reversed meaning are about courage, recovery, and most notably resisting an inevitable end. The card itself shows the person staring into a calm sea with the swords driven into them.
Ichor knows they are going to die. they know it will be painful, a result of a previous betrayal by someone they've trusted. they continue on despite this, seeking the potential for recovery despite how incredibly slim it is. even then, they still know their fate is inevitable, and most of their journey until their death is them denying, suspecting, and then finally accepting what will happen, and choosing to do good in spite of this, knowing that whatever they do, they will not be able to see the seeds they have planted
