Ever since she burst from her eggshell, Rune has had one dream, and one dream alone; to become Sornieth's greatest author. It's an ambitious goal for sure, but she doesn't seem to care in the slightest, nor is she letting it stop her at all. Day by day she toils away in her den, musing and grinning to herself as she hastily jots down drafts for epic tales of grandeur and glory in chicken-scratch handwriting. Despite her eagerness for the art of storytelling, however, there is one thing that severely deters her; something that she herself doesn't even realise is a problem, and likely won't for a long time.
Not once in her life has Rune ever finished a story.
So scatterbrained and inattentive is she that not a single tale of hers has ever been graced with an ending before she has gone to work on another; some don't even make it past the first paragraph. Hundreds of narratives have been started and abandoned within the blink of an eye, to the point where Rune herself can barely be seen within the vast pool of neglected scrolls that flood the room. Occasionally a dragon may come to fetch her for some mundane task, only to find themselves up to their necks in papyrus, and Arcanist help any unfortunate fae dragons who make the horrible mistake of coming in unprepared. Poor Wynelle came in once to ask for a spare scroll and promptly went missing amongst the growing mass of parchment for four days, for he was so small that Rune couldn't hear his faint calls for help in the slightest. Ever since then, only the larger dragons of the clan have dared to set foot in her den, for smaller ones are instantly buried.
Not that Rune cares, of course; she's still busy writing, after all!
