It's a shame dragons are so squishy and vulnerable, Star tends to think, when things go pear-shaped. She's not sure what she is or where she's come from, though she knows where she first appeared among the vibrant pink crystals of the Starfall Isles that she's come to think of as a secondary homeland, but wherever it was, things were made of tougher stuff than here on Sornieth. She's beginning to lose track of the number of cherished (if not quite well understood) draconic friends she has lost forever since her appearance here, to events which to her meant nothing but the brief inconvenience of reconstructing a form in which to reside. Every re-shape has brought her closer to a draconic form as she grows more and more attached to the beings, but still, there's a sting at Star's core of some forgotten home she might someday be able to return to, and nothing hits that tender spot harder than the permanent loss of one of her vulnerable new friends in this strange land.

Still, she keeps her head up and presses forwards - there's certainly plenty of interesting things to do and see here, and she's not going to learn anything about her mysterious origins and missing memories by lying on the ground and moping. Star is more than happy to lend her durability and speed to other friendly-looking creatures in return for a chance to learn more of the world.
