Surial was a barely adult guardian, when she just walked into the clan one day and let it be known that she would be joining this clan. When she was asked by a very amused Eamon how she found her way here, she simply answered that this was the place she was meant to be. She assured them that she brought her own supplies and could hunt for herself. The clan was still early in its inception and consisted mainly of the clan leaders, their two children and a few others and Surial’s hunting contributions were greatly appreciated. She was friendly but didn’t go out of her way to interact with others and would not answer any questions that were asked about her past. She eventually brought in the surly Zanviol and this time obtained permission for him to stay. As the clan grew, Surial laid claim to one of the larger natural dens and began to set it up as nesting area for expecting parents. She seemed to know when the eggs would hatch and when the hatchlings were about to get themselves in trouble. In time it became common for Surial to keep watch over the hatchlings and based on how she would drop everything to prevent them from harm many began to assume, correctly, that the hatchlings were her charge.

Surial and her mates live next to the current clan hatchling which allows the little ones to stay near their caretaker while their parents are otherwise busy. While she is still secretive, and seems to enjoy the gossip that surrounds her it is known that she has the gift of sight largely focused on her young charges. She has never attempted to delude herself into believing that she was the sole dragon who could protect the little ones and has recruited several others to assist her in caring for them.

Personality & Relationships: An unflappable dragon, Surial is very straightforward. She takes offense to very little and unless there is an attempt to harm the hatchlings she is unlikely to engage in a fight outside of training purposes. She does seem perpetually amused with others and lavishes attention on the younglings.

Likes: Hatchlings. Her Mates. Her Den

Dislikes: Anyone who upsets the hatchlings, Pointless Fighting

Abilities: Focused Seer, Emotional Suppression

She doesn't get paid for taking care of the hatchlings.

She uses tips from the parents to keep the playroom stocked with toys, beds and treats.

She has been known to use her emotional suppression ability on Zanviol or Xingfa when they get too riled up.

Supposedly she came across Zanviol in a tavern flirting up a storm.

She has quite the sweet tooth.
