“Surely you must have sought us with a purpose. Nobody stumbles upon Terra Mater sheerly by accident.”
He mumbled with an inquiring yellow eye peering at you from underneath his hat.
He is neither the tallest nor the fiercest dragon, but it occurs to you that this Wildclaw could very well be this clan's patriarch. You look at his face for some signs of softening, but you barely see the ends of his mouth budge. “…young one."
Wait - young one? Your eyes wander until you see the lines under his eyes. This dragon must be very, very very old.
"Welcome to Terra Mater.”
The oldest dragon in the clan, Aether hails from a time when dragons were scattered sparsely across across the land. He has been the lair's patriarch for as long as anyone cares to remember. Aether is plain speaking and simple-spirited, like his old brown hat he cherishes down to its threads. He think he is retired, but Aether still finds himself handling clan affairs alongside his mate, Pythia. The aura this patriarch radiates is one of peace. However, so many dragons to look after has made him negligent over time.
