Melan

Melan sits just in the treeline, watching the Snapper glade intently. Havoc bounces over to her and asks, "Whacha watchin'?" which earns a startle from the blue beauty, and she turns mournful eyes to the poodle, then points across the clearing to the table where eloy is conducting her experiments.

"She's so amazing," Melan whispers in adoration.

You see Havoc start to create a plot in her mind and you wonder what the diminutive poodle is up to...

Through the weeks and months, a friendship flourishes between the two Snapper ladies, and eloy finds the company of rapt Melan to be soothing and stimulating all at the once. Melan, on the other hand, finds that the amazing eloy is even moreso in person. The more she gets to know the object of her heart, the more she loves her.

Alas, she fears that she has nothing to give to a relationship with the brilliant eloy. So, she quietly approaches Jessi and borrows books from her about how to bake sweets. Melan studies them and quietly bakes and makes candies through the days as her mate ponders the secrets of the universe, until one night she's confident enough to set a dish piled high with sweetbreads before eloy. The potions master's eyes light up and she digs into the gift with exuberance, and with high praises for her beloved mate's skills.

Now Melan confidently keeps the clan in sweet concoctions and eloy proudly brags of her mate's accomplishments to her friends from far away.
