”I am Walter. But Walter isn’t just a name, it’s a lifestyle and we are all Walter. Walter is love and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to change my name to Walter- anyway, I work as an Assistant Archivist for our camp. There’s not much to archive which is strange because I’m the assistant, I have a boss, there are two of us. I have a feeling that there’s something going on behind my back. I wouldn’t put that above my boss. My boss is Memory by the way, probably should have mentioned that earlier. She’s the Head Archivist and reports directly to Chalcedony, completely ignoring the rest of the council. She’s smarter than me. She’s smarter than almost everyone in the camp. And she makes sure to remind me- which isn’t very Walter of her.
Moving on from work. Cemlyn says I talk about work too much. Cemlyn is my friend. So is Watermelon and October. They don’t make fun of my name. Cemlyn is clever and rambunctious, Watermelon is a madman, October is the kindest witch. I hate October’s parter- September- he’s just evil. Terrible. I just- no. ”
