arashi grew up in a kind family, who taught her to have similar values. in a terrible electrical accident, her mother and father ended up dying, leaving her parentless. unsure of what to do and racked with grief, she made her way to the factories and began to work there.

she hated working there, it was far too dangerous, and it seemed as if dragons weren't being properly compensated for it either. she only found comfort from one of the other dragons there, and that was koi. he was one of the first to really return the same kindness she gave to him, and the two of them ended up falling in love and making their own clan together.

they occasionally bicker about what the clan should be like. koi wants to make it similar to the factories, just with better working conditions, but arashi argues that it should be more like a safe retreat for dragons where everyone is provided for. tensions may escalate into something more...

over time, arashi has become a lot colder in her attempts to become a great leader, someone who other dragons would respect. she still tries her best to be kind, but seldom gets the chance to do so anymore. along the way, it seems that she's lost herself.

when she was younger, she was naive and far too trusting. unfortunately for her, being naive is not a great trait for a leader. that's why she swore to become a stronger dragon, though she wishes she didn't have to do it at the cost of kindness, every day the light in her fades a bit more.

though arashi has refused to tell her clanmates, the growths on her foretalons have been spreading and taking over her body, which had started when she visited the wyrmwound and helped to pull chimera out of it. she's become a lot more stand-offish and aggressive. so far, no one has realized what's going on except for navy.
