Biography

The dragonet stared into the mesmerizing flames of the central fire. Their hypnotic waving lulled him into a sleepy trance. A field of flowers, glorious in their yellow garments, stretched before him. Sweet scents washed over the golden summer haze, and he felt as light as a sunbeam. Suddenly, the sound of bells awoke the hatchling from his trance. How he longed to return.

Anacaona is a small, wistful dragon. Like the last golden rays of sunshine on the edge between summer and fall, he has a strong, yet fleeting warmth about him, as though time itself is slipping through his wings.

After being the first and only to experience a vision from his clutch, he longs to return to the field of golden flowers and sunshine that he was ripped away from as a hatchling. He has tried desperately to have another vision, even going as far to stay awake for months simply staring at a fire, but to no avail. The real world seems dark and bitterly cold in comparison to his vision. To reconcile with this, Anacaona started the tradition of blowing colored glass into globes and other shapes, to bring color life to the lair itself. He hopes to one day fill the lair with so much art that it will create the same feeling he had in the flower field all those moons ago. 		Shattered Glass Showy Bells Summer Swelter Golden Betta
