You've been making your way up the Reedcliff Ascent for a while now, enjoying the air currents tossing you around and the thrill of disorientation each time you pass over another cliff only to be confronted with larger and larger cliff sides.
Your excitement can't halt the burning sensation building in your wings, however, and despite its impressive scale, the next cliff is still rather far away. You decide to rest and land on the nearest slope, where you notice a small gathering of huts and houses. The buildings look oddly small, almost like they're further away than they ought to be.

As you approach the small village, the air seems to get even thinner and you doubt your senses for a moment, before taking a closer look and realizing that the buildings are getting disproportionately larger as you approach them.
You consider turning around and leaving when you see the door of a building open and a pink coatl stepping out. He notices you and sends you a little wave, walking towards you. You figure bailing should still be an option, except it takes the coatl only a few steps to somehow stand in front of you.
