The Oculus Rift is a limbo, detailed as alike a long, dark purple and yellow hallway, often described as somewhat of a dreamscape, singed edges of space burning infinitely at the corners of the walls at various places. This place leads to many other existing planets, spanning from close to Sornieth to far outside of this solar system, with the use of a 'weapon' he had manifested, called " The Chain of the Alluring Eye "
This chain is the weapon that the Stargazer had forged from his lifeforce after a harsh fight with three of Sornieth’s deities. He can conjure this power at will, it requiring the power that he draws from the stars he catches and receives from those that seek his elusive aid.
Every being that exists here roams these separate worlds, almost acting as a galaxy with gates that can access other environments.
The portals take the forms of gargantuan doors with elemental signs, detailing Sornieth’s known sigils in combinations.
Eventually, if traveled far enough within the halls of the limbo, they will reach an even larger door, with a sigil not seen on Sornieth. It resembled a four-pointed star, and the color was a darker gold compared to the light element.
There, you will meet two identical wildclaws, one only a small bit larger than the other, at either side of the door. Their scales and feathers were a deep purple, matching the space they were in, rough skin edged with the markings of a butterfly, however, they appeared to be abnormally sized the closer you’d gotten, at least right near the size of a ridgeback. Arcane-esc signs burn across their snout with a raw, elemental glow, centering around a starry, magenta eye that bore through the soul that dared to gaze back. They act as a counter measure if certain deities or malevolent entities were to discover the central portal location currently in Sornieth.
They will know if you hold any malicious intent, and if they detect so, they will attack, and you notice how their movements seemed to mimic as if they were within a mirror effect. . .
Within the doors is what seemed to be like an endless space. The stars shimmer around the dimension of a room, but even this doesn’t distract you from the feeling of being watched.
The Stargazer roams within this space when not observing specific worlds within the chain’s traceless grasp. He often takes the form of what he wants you to see, such as often when he roams the rift, everyone sees him as an abnormal skydancer, but the other gods that stay here see him as his true form.
He’s able to grant wishes in exchange for the fallen stars that had begun to fall occasionally over the other continents at one point in time, but even then, only a select few can access this place. . .
Zenith is the first door you see. One other thing you seem to notice is the doors are individually different depending on the characteristics of each world.
This one was etched with the shadow, light, and arcane elements respectively. The wood grain of the door seemed stripped slightly, a burn mark at the edge of the top and a claw mark toward the middle. As you walk through the door, you step in only to find that there was no gravity, yet the air here was fresh and forest-like. It was dark, feeling like it was nearly nighttime, while firefly-like creatures begun to fly about through the reflected scape you had soon discovered.
You looked up only to find the land stood on was reflected above you. Looking to the sides of the scape, pillars of rock had melded to what was the figurative ceiling of this dimension with the shade of an endless sunset.
The colorful vegetation, showing in gentle greens and dark purples had sprouted over what looked to be dragon-made structures, but almost directly upside down while some were at an angle of the twisted foundation of this place.
The Dragons that reside here are described as 'The Messiahs', or more known as The Stargazer's direct subordinates, however a questionable few may not like the thought of being called that. There may be a few that are friendly, but all of them are a force of nature that has achieved some kind of rebirth or godhood.
If your intentions are ill, be prepared, you likely won't stand a chance.
