Nightlight

Soundly, she rests her head among the flower field, the gentle winds and the wafting fragrances of the fauna lulls her to deep sleep. Her vision slightly blurry as she blinks an eye open, then it falls shut again. The night sky shines brightly with stars. She flicks her antenas, and the rings on her body as beautiful as the flowers she laid upon shone with a faint glow. The fauna around her sways in her presence, and flourish where she steps. She wears a smile knowing that the woeful cries will soon turn to jingly laughter.

"Did you hear? Did you hear?
Where flowers lay a pinkish glow
And the birds will sing, the trees will grow!
We all shall pray
the fairy come.
She'll bless us all
for years to come!
Did you hear? Did you hear?"
