Biography

With bated breath, Blossom looked on at the inert form, a mechanical marvel that resembled a Bogsneak. Blossom had been working on this project for months, nearly a whole year, and it had the potential to be her best yet, it was the most life-like and should everything work- should be like-life in it's mannerisms, hell, if it all went perfectly, it should be sentient.
Blossom let out a slow and shaky breath, and with a click of a button, the tubes containing the cerulean fluid buzzed to life and gained electrical charge, rapidly looping through the system of tubes, where then Blossom flipped a lever, changing the course to go into her project's body.

All was still for a few moments before a bright flash emanated from the project, temporarily blinding Blossom, who cursed and dove behind her protective stone screen. She had learnt the hard way that you don't make protective screens out of metal when dealing with electricity, and while glass simply shattered.

Bzzt.
Click.
Chirrup.

As Blossom's vision began to return, she took a few cautious steps out, and marvelled at her project, who was blinking in confusion and slowly looking around the room. It was alive.

Her project's eyes stopped at her form and tilted it's head and spoke:
"You.. Blossom, I b-BZZT-elieve?"

Blossom paused, it already knew her name? She hadn't programmed it with any memories, leaving it as a blank slate, to let it form it's own personality.

"How did you-"

The project cut her off.

"I've alw-CHIRRUP-ays been aware. TTThat time y-cLIcK-ou dropped me did a numb-BZZT-er on my voice box capabilit-t-t-t-ies."

Blossom looked down in shame.
"I'm truly sorry... I.. I can fix it for you or I could-"

"Do not worRY. I know ---EEe- how to fix-x-x-x-x-x it MYSElf."

Blossom gave a shy smile.
"What's your name then, since you already know mine?"

"NameEe-chirRUP-e?" It said, a flash of annoyance crossing it's face, pushing on it's throat and keeping it's hand there, speaking again, in a much clearer, more organic voice.
"I don't have one. From my understanding they are important, but I never thought to name myself." It shrugged as it said the last part.
"I suppose I like the name of the month you began work on me. November."

Blossom swished her tail.
"Well, then, welcome to Sornieth, November! Let me show you around the clan. There's a lot to learn."

November grimaced, it's hand still firmly in place over it's throat.
"Not before I fix this." It said, before promptly walking over to the crate of tools and fishing around in it.

November paused and called over it's shoulder:
"I'm going to need my own set of tools for the future, preferably not Imperial sized."

I can't believe this all worked out.. but this one is going to be a handful, I can tell. Blossom thought with pride.
