All he ever wanted was to be loved.
He was sent away from his first clan to study magic at a boarding school. Steliar felt so alone there. Everyone was naturally talented with magic, and he seemed to be the only one who actually had to learn and try. But slowly, he learned.
Slowly, he got better at magic.
He tried his hardest.
Waiting for it to pay off.

But he just couldn't get better.
Instead, he started lying.
Lying with magic.
He perfected illusion after illusion, until the best of mages couldn't see the fake.
And he was finally loved.
But was it fake too?
