Vanda

Vanda was previously a pirate, known as the Storm hound. Her massive fleet regularly looted floatsam town, and went unchallenged for years. But while on a raiding party, her crew attacked the wrong bunch of nature visitors and found themselves captured and standing trial. Vanda was secretly freed by Rainscale in hopes of an alliance with her fleet, and after the initial murderous exchange, one was secured. The rest of her crew escaped under suspicious circumstances(the guards claimed to have been attacked by grapevines) and were spirited away to their new clan, where their naval experience is useful for navigating the Gladeveins, and the occasional trip to sea. Vanda repaid most of what she and her crew had plundered, and they began settling in. Soon she began wishing for the excitement of battle once more, and so took on a position on Jade's personal guard. Despite the bounty still on her head, she now lives a fairly peaceful life as a trusted member of the royal guard. Her fashion sense, however, has yet to conform. As for those wisps? Just the vengeful, drowned souls who blame her for their ship's sinking... although they've made peace by now. Right?
