Uh-oh, looks like this party noodle wandered a little too far from her home lair (527680, Zarteicha), and now she's off to see the world! Discoball, as the young spiral she was, accompanied caravans and travelers across the Shifting Expanse, on her journey to see the world. The first clan she came across was the Sanctuary. She was in awe of the towering plateau the clan was built into, it's winding pathways and tall spires. Who knows what kinds of things were happening in this clan? Maybe one of the elemental flight's were celebrating their festival...? Her time there was spent exploring, visiting all the corners of the clan. She was disappointed to hear that the latest celebration, the Flameforger's Festival, had came and went while she was on the road. She had heard about it, and was disappointed that she wasn't able to participate in any fun games or festivities. Discoball only stayed for a few days and quickly grew bored. She left in a huff, hoping to find more exciting places to be.

In the next clan she visited, Disco courted with a retired traveller named Ilex, and together they raised a nest of two pearly Light eggs. These eggs soon hatched into two wild, viciously bright Spirals -- Raver and Hardbass -- who would grow up to carry on their mother's lineage of being the life of the party. Disco loved her family, but she wasn't the kind of dragon to be held to one place for long. Ilex wished her a fond farewell and safe travels, and Disco soared onward to her next destination.

At Saibhreas, a trading city on the border between the Sunbeam Ruins and the Shifting Expanse, DiscoBall stayed at a quaint inn with other travelers. She met a sunny and unusual gaoler named Strawberry. Together, they explored the city and tried all sorts of new foods and bought plenty of new knickknacks to distribute on their travels. Eventually, they ran out of money and had to continue on!

The NightShade clan (Randodemon): disco had inured herself when rushing to help some random dragons and had to stay in a nice semi-large clan until she healed during this time she met a lovely Coatl named Cloudburst and fell in love with him (slow down girl). Sadly her traveling partner ran off in the night too impatient to wait for her to be healed. “But the party must go on!” She would say tears in her eyes, having thought she had finally found someone who would stay with her in all her travels. But at least she has cloudburst. It turns out cloudburst was going to serve the shadowbinder! She didn’t even get to tell him! Why didn’t she know beforehand? Well I suppose it was for the best. She should leave this place behind her. She was healed up anywho

When at the Sunbeam ruins (GoddessYune), DiscoBall decided to stay there the night. Sugarplum was a lovely dragon (she thought). She fell in love (again), and they brought upon three eggs. Disco found out it was Rockbreaker's ceremony! She really wanted to go but Sugarplum urged her not to, as their eggs weren't hatched yet. DiscoBall agreed to stay until the eggs were hatched. When they did, she was about to leave again when Sugarplum ran up to her again. He expressed his worry that she would get hurt and that she should learn to protect herself. Discoball thought that was interesting so she trained with a group of dragons. Quickly, she learned that it was an exalting squad! Fearful and confused, DiscoBall flew off into the night, but not before someone tugged at her leg. Swirl? "Mama..." He mumbled quietly. "Whe-whe-re a-a-re you goin?" Disco told him she was leaving. "B-but mama...c-can I go?" She considered it, then scooped him off without another thought. They flew into the night. Of course DiscoBall loved her family, but nothing could drag her away from her travels. When DiscoBall began her next venture, she was surprised to encounter her son, Hardbass! Hardbass revealed that he had lived in Crow Callers for much of his early life, and decided that he wanted to return to visit. DiscoBall wanted to see what the clan had to offer, so her son decided to show her around. Hardbass decided it was time for him to leave, but DiscoBall wanted to stay for a little longer - she fell in love with a fellow travelling dragon known as Warp. DiscoBall and her son bid each other goodbye, hoping they'd meet again. She and Warp had three hatchlings, named StarkRaver, Breezefang, and Fhadove. After this, they decided it was time to go their separate ways. Next place Disco went was to Windsingers domain. Finally!, she thought, I heard wind dragons were easy going and love to travel. I wonder if they love to party too? As she flew through the domain, she spotted a curious group of earthbound dragons making their way slow towards the horizon. Disco decided to join them. Here, she learned that one of her kids, StarkRaver, had recently traveled with this caravan! Disco smiled proudly knowing that her son was also born with the party and travel bug. However, after traveling with this group for a day, she decided it was time to move on. Most of the dragons here were not on the same party wavelength as her. After a particularly eventful flight over the Sea of a Thousand Currents, DiscoBall found herself recuperating from an injury in a peaceful coastal clan. The days she spent there were the calmest she'd ever experienced - and that was a problem! It was as if the air itself bestowed tranquility on all the dragons in the area. Disco knew she had to get out to stay true to her party self! Of course, she felt a little awkward turning down their invitation to stay longer...but Disco belonged in the middle of a party, not some snoozefest like this place! After thanking her hosts and the resident healer, DiscoBall flew off over the Sea yet again. When Discoball found herself in the Gladekeeper's domain, she wanted to leave immediately. After all, Nature isn't exactly known for parties. But the journey across the sea exhausted her, and she decided to take a short rest here. Then, she saw a strange dragon fly overhead. It had dozens of eyes and looked a lot like a gaoler, but unmistakably wasn't one. Her instinct was to flee, but something kept her still. She had no idea what kind of dragon this could possibly be! The eyes she could explain, at least - she had seen many multigaze dragons in her travels. She briefly wondered if it was possible for gaolers to crossbreed with tundras, but was cut short when she noticed the strange dragon watching her. It was much closer than she thought, and for a moment she thought it might land. However, it continued to fly around her, and eventually settled to the ground about a dozen feet away. "Hello." it said in a rumbling voice, quiet like a far-away thunderstorm. "Well, at least it's friendly!" nervously thought Discoball. She wanted to introduce herself, but what came out of her mouth was: "Who are you and what are you and why are you here?" The dragon slowly blinked all of its eyes consecutively, from head to tail. "My name is Stormcloud. We are called the Obelisk, but I don't know any more than this. And this brings us to your last question - I don't know yet. There is a threat, I am told. The Earthshaker made us to protect Sornieth. It's all very confusing and I'd rather turn back to stone." New dragons? Created by the Earthshaker himself? No earlier than today, judging by the fact that she's never heard of them before? Discoball's head was spinning. There was a thousand questions buzzing in her head, but she could see Stormcloud avoiding her gaze with all of its eyes, fidgeting in place. Now was not the time for interrogations. "I meant it in a less existential way, darling. What are you doing in this forest?" "I... live here, I guess? A nearby clan took me in, but they were so excited about me... It was too much. So I'm flying around these woods until everyone calms down." "I could keep you company, if you'd like. Or would you rather be left alone?" "Why would anyone want to be alone?" it asked softly. "Together we can fly in silence. Or you could tell me your story. Do you have a name?" Discoball smiled. It may not be a party, but making a new friend is close enough. After DiscoBall's second return to Crow Callers, she briefly fell in love with a former travelling dragon named Sagittarius. After this encounter, she thought about what it meant to retire from travelling - and where would she want to stay someday? DiscoBall had been out on the road for a while, so it's not a bad idea for her to decide that someday she should retire. But of course, that was a question for another day. Morph 1 #2172693
